Born and raised in the BVI, Captain Ariel brings authentic local knowledge that only comes from a lifetime in these waters. His journey began with childhood sailing camps and evolved into serious offshore experience, including a challenging 3,540 nautical mile Atlantic crossing from Tortola to Gibraltar.
Currently working as First Mate and Engineer aboard S/V MY TY, Ariel has completed over 100 successful charters. His team-oriented approach and strong work ethic ensure he can deliver high-end memorable experiences while maintaining the highest safety standards.
First Mate & Engineer on S/V MY TY since 2021, averaging 14-16 charters per season. Ariel handles everything from daily engine checks to leading dive excursions, ensuring both vessel performance and guest safety throughout your adventure.

Trained at the prestigious Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Nyla brings the same passion, drive, and craving for success that made her successful on land to every charter. Her commitment to excellence, innovation, and genuine love for cooking creates truly memorable onboard dining experiences.
